Bajaj Pulsar 200NS
The Indian two-wheeler maker, Bajaj Auto is very aggressive about its new launch strategy and is expected to re-introduce the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS that was quietly lifted from the domestic market earlier. It is likely that Bajaj will introduce the updated Pulsar 200NS within the month of January 2017. The primary change in the updated Pulsar 200NS is that it will be compliant with the BS4 emission rules. The bike will get powered by a 199.5 cc liquid cooled single cylinder triple spark mill that will have the capability to generate 24.5 Bhp of power and 18.6 Nm of torque. The refreshed new NS200 is expected to come with new graphics as well as new body colors and also likely to come with ABS as a standard feature. It is expected to be priced at around Rs. 90,000.
2017 KTM 390 Dukess
The Austrian two-wheeler maker, KTM is expected to be launching the new KTM 390 Duke in India by the month of March, 2017. KTM displayed the 2017 KTM 390 Duke at 2016 EICMA in Milan, Italy. The 390 Duke has derived some design cues from its sibling KTM 1290 Super Duke R and will get be equipped with a 373.2 cc single cylinder, 4-stroke motor which can deliver 43.5 hp of power and 37 Nm of torque. This engine is coupled with a 6 speed transmission gearbox along with slipper clutch technology as well as Ride-By-Wire technology. The bike is now endowed with a larger 13.4-liter fuel tank replacing the usual 11-liter capacity tank. TVS Akula was first unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo. It will be the first bike model to be manufactured by the joint venture of Indian two-wheeler major TVS and German auto giant BMW. The company has already announced the new TVS Akula 310 will launch in India in the February-March period of 2017. It will rival the likes of the upcoming Benelli Tornado 302 and KTM RC390. The Akula 310 is essentially the full-faired version of the BMW G 310 R street naked bike that packs in a 313 cc mill offering 34 hp of power and 28 Nm of torque and is paired with a 6 speed gearbox. The bike features 17 inch wheels and ABS is offered as a standard feature. Suspension will be handled by upside-down forks upfront and a rear monoshock suspension. It is likely to be price in the range of Rs. 2 Lakhs.
Kawasaki Ninja 650, Z650, Z900 and W800
Japanese two-wheeler maker Kawasaki will be launching four models, namely the Ninja 650, Z650, Z900 and W800 in this country, within this year. The updated 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650 borrows its design cues from the ZX-10R. The new 650 is lighter and features twin headlamps. It will be powered by a 650 cc, parallel twin-mill offering 69 hp and is coupled with a 6 speed manual transmission. The bike gets longer header pipes, 36 mm throttle bodies, better brakes and standard ABS.
The updated new Kawasaki Z650 will be replacing the ER-6n, has become lighter and shares the same engine with the Ninja 650. On the other hand, the Kawasaki Z900 will be launching to replace the Z800 and packs in a 948 cc 4-cylinder mill generating a peak power of 125 hp and top torque of 98.6 Nm. The engine gets paired with a 6 speed transmission gearbox.
Apart from these, the Japanese company will also launch the W800 in India that got recently spied at an Indian dealership. This bike with its particular retro styling gets equipped with a 773 cc, V-twin motor that delivers a peak power of 47 hp and top torque of 60 Nm and is coupled with a 5 speed transmission gearbox. It comes with round classic style headlight, chrome finished mud guards and retro themed spokes.

The BMW G310R will be launching in India by mid-2017. It is a streetfighter bike that will be another product from the joint venture of TVS and BMW. This motorcycle model will be locally produced at the Hosur manufacturing facility of TVS and it has been fully developed in Germany. The BMW G310R gets equipped with a 313 cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder, 4 stroke motor and gets paired with a 6 speed transmission gearbox. The motor generates 33 hp of peak power and 28 Nm of top torque. It is expected to deliver fuel economy of 25 Kmpl. The bike gets equipped with a 300 mm disc brake for the front wheel and a 240 mm disc brake for the rear wheel, while ABS will be offered as a standard feature. It will come with digital instrument cluster, chrome finished exhaust and will rival the Mahindra Mojo and KTM 390 Duke in India.
